Sarah Jessica Parker, the quintessential thinking woman’s fashion diva thinks nothing of letting her roots show. She has fashioned an entire empire from just being herself. Both Sarah, and her alter-ego, Carrie Bradshaw of, Sex and the City dictate fashion and entire social mores along with her cohorts to women of twenty to the low forties. Sarah never shy of full disclosure charmingly acknowledges being complimented for her, “nice, big, square teeth.”

Sarah has an off-kilter beauty that she has done nothing to augment. She proudly sports her inimitable nose on her long narrow face, with her shock of hair showcased in a myriad styles. She is a shot of pure uptown sparkle with a downtown grit that has won her a slew of roles that any actor of her age would die for. And finally, finally this natural beauty has succumbed to the plastic surgeon’s knife! No the famous nose is still safe. But in her own open inimitable way her signature mole is history! I just saw, Sex and the City, the hit movie and did not miss the mole one little bit! In fact, I hardly noticed it was gone.
Sarah eschews epithets like “sexy,” “beautiful,” etc. Instead she prefers to talk about when she feels “best.” Obviously, she felt it best to get rid of her mole. It could have been for health reasons. Dermatologists always recommend removing moles, especially if they change shape, size or color or are asymmetrical. In any case, except for removing the mole, she is all Sarah! She loves strutting around in Manolo Blahniks, Rifat Ozbek jackets and Christian Lacroix pants. When she was pregnant she made an entrance in a Narciso Rodriguez dress made just for her. But paradoxically, the moment she enjoys the most is just before being whisked away for hair and make-up. Obviously, because Sarah is most comfortable in her own skin.
